Comments:
This is a very well-maintained campground just a few miles north of Salt Lake City. It’s a perfect location to be able to see the sites, and no have to be in downtown.
There were two issues we had with the park which reduced its rating. The first was an electrical issue that every morning around 6 am, our power would shut off due to a high frequency error. I switched out the EMS box, thinking the EMS may be bad, but nothing changed. I mentioned it to the person at the front desk, but she didn’t have a clue as to what it could be.
The second issue was indirectly the campgrounds fault. Every Wednesday their landscaper comes to cut the grass. And in doing so, moves the picnic benches out of their way. Which is a good thing, except they don’t put them back. Our neighbors table, which was on our driver’s side, midpoint on our rig, ended up in front about an inch from the headlight. And no one ever came around to move them back.
Would we come back here? I doubt it, once you see all of the sites in SLC, there’s nothing else to do. I would prefer revisiting one of the National Parks.
