Comments:
First, let me say, the video on the resort’s website must have been done several years ago because the condition of the property has gone down. Not sure if it’s due to Covid, or just a lack of maintenance. It’s also poorly managed. Again not sure if it’s Covid related, but in all of the years traveling we’ve never seen campgrounds move people around so much, it’s like a mad shuffle every couple of weeks. We’ve seen people move to four different sites during the three months we’ve been here. A “resort” this is not. Yes, it does have the amenities of one, but there’s no scheduled activities so everyone mainly stays to themselves. Again, assuming this is mainly due to Covid. The office only allows one guest at a time. They have trash pickup, but you have to have it out before 7AM. Lots of empty spaces throughout. Had to go to office three times to pay monthly bill, and then their accounting was wrong, and I was told our space was rented for 3/1 when we weren’t leaving until 3/19. After I shoed them my confirmation email (almost a year old) they said never mind.
The desert is nice but gets old after a few weeks. Fountain Hills is a nice newer town, but again, after a month there’s not much to do.
