Comments:
I was wrong when I thought Emerald Isle would be like OBX. It’s not. The island is more residential, and had no, or very few, “tourist” attractions.
The campground is well maintained, and the staff is very friendly. Since this is the “off season” there’s only two sections open, which means everyone is packed in together. Not sure the reasoning but it is what it is.
Utilities were all ok, except for the sewer line which was an unthreaded pipe. A threaded connection doesn’t cost that much.
We’ll probably won’t come back to this area since there’s not much here. But if you’re in the area try this campground (there’s not many around)
