Comments:
We moved to this campground after realizing Lakeside campground five miles away did not have any cell service. Pine Crest is a well-run and quiet place, with mostly seasonal campers who are very friendly. The campground really saved us when we were in a pinch, so I don’t want to be too critical. However, the water pressure was really low, and since they have well water, turned the filter dark brown after only a few days. Also, the owner was very nice to work with us to hook up the cable box (never done this before) and if we selected a site down a few spaces we would have probably could have connected to the satellite.
As for the town of Windsor, if you stay here, just know there’s not much here in the way of restaurants or grocery stores
