The weather yesterday was perfect for our visit to Bryce Canyon National Park. Upon arriving, we parked at the shuttle station and boarded the shuttle bus. Taking the shuttle bus just makes seeing the National Parks much easier since we don’t have to worry about having to find a parking spot, and with the shuttle stopping every ten minutes, we can spend as much, or as little, time we want at each viewpoint.
Bryce Canyon National Park, is known for crimson-colored hoodoos, which are spire-shaped rock formations. The park’s main road leads past the expansive Bryce Amphitheater, a hoodoo-filled depression lying below the Rim Trail hiking path. It has overlooks at Bryce Point, Inspiration Point, Sunset Point, and Sunrise Point.
It was another day of spectacular views. And we are so glad we were able to this great National Park.
We’ll be staying in Panguitch again this week so I can work, but on Saturday we move over to Moab, so that we can check out Arches National Park, our last stop on our Utah National Park tour.
