The reason for this long post is to let everyone know that we have decided to take a break from traveling. We have decided to purchase a leasehold interest on a site here at Aces High RV Park , in East Lyme Connecticut.

What this means is that we will “own” the site, but not the land. It will be leased to us for 98 years. So, we won’t have any property taxes, and we can maintain our South Dakota residency. And if we do travel, Aces High can rent out the site and we would get 60% of the rental amount received.

So as of today, this is our new home base.

I’m not saying that we will never travel again (never say never), but our plan right now is to park for the foreseeable future.

Wish us luck

Until next time.
