Nashville

Being that we were only stopping in the area for a week, I used a PTO day from work and we took the trolly tour to see the sights. We’re not country music fans , but we still had a good time listening to the tour guide tell us about the city.

Here’s a slideshow of some of the sights

  • Site of the sit-ins in the 60’s
  • Carillons – State Capital in distance
  • Bicentennial Park
  • The Parthenon

We only got off at stop 10, and that was to visit Antique Archeology. Since we’ve been to the store in LeClaire Iowa, we just thought it was fitting that we visit this one as well.

It was a fun day, and a great way to check out Nashville. Unfortunately, it’s now back to work, but we’re looking forward to checking out Memphis in a couple of weeks.
