Yesterday we spent the day in Zion National Park. The campground we are at has a shuttle bus to and from the park for $7.00 per person. Can’t beat the price, and saves us from trying to find a parking space in the park or outside the park in the town of Springdale (who also has a free shuttle to the park).
Once inside we boarded the free park shuttle bus for the 40 minute trip to the last stop, the Temple of Sinawava. We then started the return trip, jumping on and off the stops we wanted to see (which was most of them) until we were back at the visitors center.
The views just got better and better as we made our way back. I lost track of how many times we said WOW, or check that out.
After getting my customary magnet from the gift shop, we left the park and headed over to the Zion Canyon Brew Pub for lunch. I had the buffalo meatloaf burger, and Debbie had fish & chips. The food, and service, was really good and we were able to get an outside table with a great view.
It was another spectacular day in our adventure. Our next stop is Bryce Canyon National Park, and we plan on using their shuttle as well when we visit.
Until then,
